I just finished rebuilding my head using full supertech valvetrain. Dual Valve Springs, Titanium Retainers, Guides, Flat Valves with Science of Speed LMA.

I track my car and also street drive her. What's a good set of Cams that will yield good power and still offer normal drivability. I am contemplating the Skunk2 Tuner Stage 2 Cams, Blox Stage 2 Cams, Toda A2 Cams.

Stock B18c5 otherwise.

 

with stock head and bottom end, my recommendation is a set of tuner 1 or even the edelbrock 4730. I have the edelbrock cams and made 187/143 on a stock b18c5 with bolt ons. the tuner 1's will give you a bit more rpm of power band. My tuner was very impressed with the torque these cams made.

 

Tuner 1 all the way, I have a pretty similar C5 setup on Tuner 1 cams drives like stock and makes good power, I don't have a N.A dyno since im using a Supercharger but when I pull off the blower and drive it N.A the engine still has lots of power and feels great and this is with my boosted tune no change in tune. These cams are also street legal and come with a carb sticker lol
