Default Troubleshooting: Issues concerning AEM fuel rail O-rings

1990 CRX with b16a swap and AEM fuel rail. Precision 1000cc injectors. My issue is my injectors are really hard to get into the rail and when I get them in they end up taking a good piece off of the oring and then my rail leaks. I tried the OEM honda green injector o rings as well as the ones AEM provided with the rail. They seem to both be a little bit too thick. I've tried 4 different sets and every time I get a leak and I have to really force them in. What am I doing wrong?

It's supposed to be a really tight fit.
Use a better lubricant on the o-rings

You may be better off finding an aftermarket set of O-rings that have the appropriate inside diameter like the factory O-rings yet have a slightly narrower cross-section/outer diameter so you can insert them into the fuel rail a bit easier without damaging them. The last set I had trouble with, I used some out of a universal A/C O-ring kit I picked up at the auto parts store in place of the original injector O-rings or any of those included with the AEM fuel rail.

Just a heads up to anyone else that may have this problem in the future - I found a big set of o rings that are fuel rated at harbor freight for $10. If anyone needs the size I can probably find it, but they fit right in no issues.
