Icon5 D16A Idle Issue

I have a 92 EG with a D16A swap. I have been trying to figure out an idling issue but cannot pin point the issue. I will try to give as much details as possible.

Original Situation

The engine does one out of two things:

Either cold starts just fine and once warmed up it idles really low and dies or it idles really low and then idles at 1800 rpm once I give it gas a few times.

The vehicle was also dying when braking and the brake booster appeared to have failed on me since the brakes were very hard with no assist.

What I Have Done So Far

I have replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel pump, brake booster and master cylinder.

When I replaced the Brake Booster I did notice that the original one had a leak on the bottom of it.

What The Vehicle Is Doing Now

When I cold start the vehicle it idles really low and wants to die. Sometime it will idle fine after giving it gas a few times. Other times it will just continue to want to die no matter what. It will also sound like it is choking a bit or two stepping a bit when it does this.

The brakes now appear to be stuck or frozen but this could be the caliper. I will be replacing that in the next week or so.

What I Think The Issue Might Be

I think the idling issue might either be the Distributor or the Idle Air Control valve. If you have any advice or recommendations please let me know. I will try to keep you guys updated as well.

UPDATE

So I bought some MAF Sensor Cleaner and Throttle Bottle Cleaner. Cleaned IAC and Throttle Body. Turned vehicle on and still doing the same thing as before. Either idling real low and dying or idling around 1800 rpm. I also noticed that the brakes are still really stiff and only allow about an inch of travel. Not sure if that is related to the idling or a sticky caliper.

What ECU are you using to run a D16A in an EG?

Clean the IACV and adjust the idle speed.

It's unlikely that your engine has a MAF sensor.

My fault.... That is what I meant... I cleaned the Idle Air Control Valve. I am running a chipped P28 and have tried adjusting the idle even a battery reset to wipe the ecu learned memory.

Try starting the car with your ect sensor (under the distributor) unplugged. This will throw a code, but let it warm up and report the results.
