Default went to the dyno today

yep, so im really happy now. now if i could just loose a whole bunch a wieght id be that much happier. anyway here is the graph. (for some reason i cant get torque to print out, ill keep trying and post it later)

it was pretty cool, kieth (the "tuner") told me i have a good BUTTDYNO because i had it set up pretty decent to begin with. the car got on the dyno after sitting for like 3 hours and was cold as a biotch. so we were running and it just kept getting better.

the torque was about 162-163 ft/lbs for the graph shown above.

mods are intake, custom 2.5" exhaust (from kteller8!) and v-afc. the v-afc was used to smooth out the curve but didnt really produce any gains as expected.

go with a kamikaze 4-1 header, they have a huge collector compared to the other brands.

nice numbers, i love the h22a torque, one of these days i am going to dyno my h22 accord (intake, header, exhaust, cam gears, fpr) i would be happy putting some numbers up similar to yours....if our dyno at work would ever get in the ground i could find out

Kamakaze does indeed make a header for the h22a. But I believe its the 4-2-1 design, however the collector is huge like stated above even though the primaries are shorter than most brands. Very good for Supercharger use.

m00gen... or jasma if you're strapped for cash. I'd post a pic but no digi cam or usb port. Anyways, the inner diameter is the same as the OD of the stock piece. The pipes are reversed entering the 4-2. Nice long equal length for a 4-2-1. Should be able to get a chart up sometime... mp3 player or digicam

Jasma? I guess you dont know that is the translation for "CARB" is JASMA.

On USDM products like a USDM DC Sports Header it would say "CARB" and then a number for its approval.

In Japan a japanese market Mugen Header would say JASMA instead of CARB. They mean the same thing. Its not a brand.

Get it?

the collector is only 2.5", thats not huge but that is pretty big. and they do make a kamikaze for 92 - 96 VTEC preludes and 97 - 00 Prelude base and SH models. check www.importparts.com un sure if they are 4 - 1 or 4 - 2 - 1
