Default Will the oil pan gasket reseal?

I want to just drop the pan, check the marks on the rods for what bearings were used and zip the pan back up. With a F22B1 wngine that has about probably a good 200k miles on it, do you think the pan gasket will seal back up good enough for a week or 2 until the new bearings and gasket come in?

With 200k miles on that gasket, it's most likely going to leak after you reassemble. But the leak will probably be tiny (more like seepage). I doubt if you'll see any drips, so you should be fine for a few weeks or longer.

Thats what I was thinking also, but, i was not sure if it would come apart without ripping to shreds. I am not even sure what the gasket is made of, and, hence why i need the experts on here.

Thanks ptmy
