Does anyone know how to get rid of the side airbag light issue, for an 06 Civic SI coupe that has Type R seats installed? I reset the airbag light but it always comes back on. I also tried erasing the code but it also comes back. I need to get rid of the light in order to ship my vehicle back state side from over seas. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

 

How about measuring the resistance of the OE Si seats side airbag plug and create a similar resistance plug cap to plug into the empty plug in the car under the seat since the Type R seats do not have the side bags.

 

3.1 ohms resistor should do it
