Anyone of you know where I can get a factory LSD, no one ever seems to have any in stock.

You might want to check with R&D Motorsports, they deal with a lot of OEM pieces from Japan, and they import motors. Just call Dave up and ask, he's was very helpful in getting me some parts a while back. Good prices too.

R&D's website: http://www.randdmotorsports.com/

Personally though, Id go with a Quaife (I have one, its great).

Edit: satan_srv, where were you a few months ago when I was looking for a spare tranny! If I hadnt already had the Quaife to put in, I probably would have bought that. In any case, Im just glad I have an LSD now, makes the car even more fun.

Were you inquireing about the diffrence between helical (gear type) lsd and the clutch type diffrential? The helical (quaife) is normally good for turning dirstrubution of torque like in auto-x. The clutch plate type si good for straight line acceleration but unlike the quaife is adjustable.

They also do good work too. Not to mention that they run a couple of Spec Miata's (prepped in house) and IIRC, also have a few Protege's in the World Challenge series.

hey Corey, if you ever need your rebuilt, let me know, send it to me and i can give it to him directly, instead of you shipping it to OPM, and then they ship it to him blah blah blah

The site doesn't have any info on LSD's, if you have one how much was it and do you have to use a special gear oil with it?
