I have a 2002 Honda Accord that has been showing signs of combustion gas leak into the cooling system: 1. Coolant goes into the overflow tank and it doesn't return, 2. Exhaust leaves a puddle of water when idling. 3. After a short drive overflow tank is hissing with air.
The car is not over heating, the radiator cap is working "tested with a pressure tester". Car drives fine, although it'll idle low from time to time when coming to a complete stop.
I bought a Block Tester to test a different car, but I wanted to check the results on my Accord because I was sure the head gasket had a leak or a crack in the head/block. But, the tester never turned yellow or green. It stayed sort of blue. I tested 3 different times from a cold start up until it reached operating temperature. What do you guys think? Fluid before test.
