2001 accord vp crank no start.
Remove a spark plug, connect the plug to its wire and lay on the valve cover, crank the engine, is there a healthy spark? then check all the plug wires, all firing? if so its probably the fuel system... filter, regulator, connectors, ECU drivers, grounds, etc. If no fire watch ETCG trouble shoot. Is the contact spring present on the coil? chinese igniter? (I will go to a pickapart for an OEM before I waste time on the cheap igniters on ebay)
Check sparks at the plugs and coil to make sure your new components are working as you expect. Then look at the fuel system (e.g., check fuel pressure, etc.). If you're convinced the fuel system is working fine, one other possible cause of your problem could be timing. I believe your car has a timing belt and not a timing chain. If that's the case, check the belt to make sure it's positioned for correct timing. Sometimes timing belts become loose over time by itself, causing it to skip one or several teeth. Depending on how many teeth has been skipped and how far off your timing has become, your car can run rough or not start at all.
Almost forgot to mention: check timing with a timing gun also to make sure you haven't accidentally rotated the distributor when you were changing the igniter.
