Civic 2002 cluster swap Question
Hi all !
I tried to search this forum, other forums and the whole Google Search .. can't find the answer so : here I am !
I switched a civic 200x cluster (probably 2003) from my 2002, cause I wanted the Tach on it too !
All is working just fine, speed, tach, gauges, lights all of it : except : the maintenance light flashes once and stay ON.
NO : Its not the Oil change warning : that has been done (and resetted) a week ago !
YES : I tried to do the same reset (Hold button, switch ON and wait procedure) : did not work !
YES i did the Gauges calibration procedure : no help there. ( And BTW : they do not calibrate on their own : they just go to 100% and go back down : YOU have to calibrate them manually, wich : I did ! )
Oh and : YES : the Odometer matches to less than 10 kilometers !!! I have waited like 18 months to switch that cluster !!! HAhahahahahaha !!!
So here is the question : How do I get rid of that Maintenance Required light please :-)
Thanks in advance !

Remove the bulb at that poiunt, hahaha. Check to make sure there isn't a minor CEL stored on the ECU. My car did this to me and the light would not turn off, turns out the ELD was bad, after replacing I was able to clear the maint req'd light permanently
