Engine Revs between shifts ~ Manual ~ HELP ~ 2008 2.4 man
Car: 2008 Accord 2.4L MANUAL (6sp)
Issue: Car has sat for a while, and when driven the computer (assuming) increases the engine throttle by about 2k rpm when you shift.
clarity… the second you push the clutch in, the engine revs up about 2000 rpm, then returns to normal.
Idle is fine, she seems a little doggish below 4k, NO CEL at all, No other symptoms.
This is a car I am buying, and I want to make sure this isn't a drastic deal. (Please help asap.)
Search was ineffective at returning my results, but I have also never been very good at it.
Also… All is SOP with transmission and clutch. No evident issues,
