Hey guys,and girls I have a ef sedan with a b18b1 ls 5sp obdo , dpi to mpi .removed the engine to rebuild it.got the motor done installed and I go to start it and no spark . So I checked fuel good, battery good grounds good (note: car ran before. ) bought a new dizzy .double checked my grounds .my dizzy wires were brittle and couple of those wires broke ordered a new plug for it hooked it back up color matching orange with orange, skinny white with skinny white and so.. still no spark. Checked my dizzy and ecu with another car that car ran so I'm assuming something in the dizzy plug but I check 4 or 5 times the are correctly color matched the wiring harness was taken off and inspected and repaired installed it again and nothing...... how ever now I have a spark plug tester ligjt with the key on engine off,just before the engine is set to start all my dash lights are on like normal the sparkplug light goes on I go to crank it and nothing I can make the spark plug light tester go on and off with the ignition switch. I'm lost on what it could be any help will be appreciated sorry for the long content.

 

sounds to me like you got two wires installed in the wrong place
i cant tell you witch ones
i dont know

but to find them your self
trace them with a light tester at the dizzy and see where they go on the ecu
and when doing this make sure the harness is unplugged from the ecu
do not test for volts with the ecu connected
