I got and 87 crx si with a D16A1 fully stock, got it in 2011 drove it for 3 years with no problems but realized rust build up that the previous owner covered up with instafoam,
anyway started looking for a new shell found one, its a 83 crx with nothing on it just a roller.
My question before I start digging in what should I start on first I'm just so overwhelmed with everything and should I just start puling parts .

any ideas would be great !!!

 

I would start one section at a time. First, make sure your new car does not have any significant damage that would stop the conversion. Then I would start with the suspension, then engine, then interior. Don't rip everything off the donor car. Take only the parts off you are moving over. Make sure you change out the bushings/bearings, etc. as needed. Good luck.
