I am currently trying to do a b16a engine swap with a 1994 Civic coupe (EJ1) and am having an issue with options for the instrument cluster. I'm not a fan of small clusters hanging around the inside of the car, and want to keep my gauges within the area for the original instrument cluster. My issue is that the B16a has a much higher redline than the original d series engine, which means that the tachometer that the car currently has wont match up. Any suggestions as to where I could find an Aftermarket instrument cluster that will work with the higher revs of the B16A?

 

You could always swap in an EM1 cluster, or go hardcore and stick an S2K cluster in there. Search search search.
