Default Replacment CAT

What can I use to replace the CAT on my 2002 Honda CRV? I'm in California so I suppose I need a CARB legal one but if pricing is ridiculous I will use a non-carb one.

online stores like RockAuto and Parts Geek have them for around $250-300 for CARB legal. the premium over non-CARB parts is less than $100.

this all seems relatively reasonable to me. I can remember a few years ago replacements for this model costing $1,000 anywhere you went.
