Default Gen 5 Accord TCU

I know that the 94-95 Accords were OBDI and that the 96-97 were OBDII. It is my understanding that all the automatic transmissions in these 4 years were the same and will interchange. My question is, did the TCU change when the ECU went to OBDII ? In other words, will a TCU from, say a 97 Accord, work in a 94 Accord ?

The TCU is separate from the ECU in 94-95 Accords.. The TCU is integrated into the ECU for 96-97 Accords.

Thanks. I had thought that the integrated TCU began with the Gen 6 in 1998. I guess that's why Majestic Honda didn't show them in the catalog.
