Default 98 ek hatch with a b20 fuel issue and etc

I have a 98 Ek hatch just did a b20 high compression with 40 k Mile with a b16 tran light flyweight and stage 4 clutch and a skunk two mani with 70 mm tb and some Plm header and short air intake issue I’m was having was the car was choking on low rpm when I step on the gas so I change the fuel filter to a new oem one with a black fuel and regular and gauge and after market fuel line so now how much does the psi have to be I put it at about 45 on idle and when I hit the gas kinda go down a few about 40 or so run a lot better and I have stock injectors and fuel pump I think 240cc the stock injectors are and stock fuel pump that the hatch came with and I have 21/2 inch pipping front to back if that help lol but I’m having a little smoke coming out from the muffler now and a little back fire it’s that normal or what should I do Thanxk for the help everyone

Misfiring at low rpm and heavy throttle is usually due to weak sparks. Starving for gas becomes more apparent at high rpm heavy throttle when you use the most gas.

If you have a stock ECU tune you should use stock fuel pressure, including the vacuum compensation.

I had a stock fuel pressure and had this issue so I Jusd did a fuel rail with gauge and fuel regulator cause. So it fix the problem but I just want to know what’s the psi i have to have it at Cause run better now but now it smoek Little And bakc fire alittle but nothing to crazy
