For B20 swap, the 90-93 integra Half shaft is so hard to find
I have been trying to locate the parts for EF B20 swap... JDM motors are abundant... I am planing on using 90-93 integra cable transmission....Rebuilt unit is about $800.... Ouch... What's worse...the half shaft is extremely difficult to find online! Found one on Amazon, the guy is asking for $288...OOUUCCH.... It is getting insane... Is there a way around it???? Maybe I should look into turbo-ing the D... Any idea?

So this is my first post currently doing a swap myself after countless hours lurking I decided to go with the yonaka half shaft and 94-01 axles Im having trouble with the throttle cable now
What intake manifold are you using? It should be the original integra manifold and throttle cable.
90-93 half shaft has female end where the axle goes in - 94 and up has a male end - also, the seal in the transmission where the half shaft goes in is different depending on which half shaft you use - 90-93, you need 90-93 seal - 94 and up, you need 94 and up seal
So, 90-93 tran with 94+ half shaft side seal and 94+ half shaft and CV axles correct?
The 90-93 SK7 intermediate shafts are actually very abundant and easy to find, just post up a want ad on here or any Honda FB group. Check ebay. You should not need to pay more than $50 for one.
**** if i knew the DA i-shafts were worth anything, i would have pulled them along with all the 4040 valves i've sold....
oh well.
oh well.
Ok sorry to bring this thread back up. But this has been the best thread so far in helping me answer a few questions. I am running a b20b in my civic also but I have an LS non lsd A1 cable transmission from like 89-90 from other research I gathered on my transmission its pretty much the same as an S1 cable trans. So my question is can I use any half shaft and corresponding axels and just make sure to get the right seal on the transmission side? My motor is a b20b from 99 I think.
That depends on your trim of civic iirc. Worse case you’d need to source some DA knuckles.
Source your half shaft (you can’t use the b20 half shaft, it’s different) from an integra, and just buy the corresponding axle for the driver side (either male or female cv joint for the half shaft side.) The passenger side axle is the same among all the years.
