my 93 teg has abs, there is a pump under the hood, but i dont think there is an abs check light on the dash. so how do i check to see if it is working properly. winter is coming.

previous owner said it didnt work right, with my expirence it works fine but just wonder how to check sensors, pump, relays etc. and since i dont think there is an abs light at all on the dash, i dont mean not turned on i mean one doesnt exist how would i know when it messes up?

help?

secondary question while im here. i dont know the technical name for it but next to the blue jumper that you would put a paperclip in to check the engine codes, that thing, there is another open ended plug next to that one. im not sure of the color of the plug or the wires right not but i dont know what this is for. i put a paperclip in it to see if that one is to check tranny codes or abs codes?

Since I've never dealt with ABS before, I don't really know but if I were you I'd grab a copy of the service manual and read through its ABS section.
