Default 1994 Del Sol si LSD

I was wondering if anyone had advice on if the lsd conversation plates that you can find online are worth it, or if it would be better to just spend the extra money and buy a proper Helical lsd.

You know the answer... spend the money and get a proper LSD. "Phantom Grip" style plates do apply some additional force on the idler gears and thus "lock" both axles at greater steering angles before allowing slip, but they do absolutely nothing to strengthen the vulnerable design issues with the stock open diff design... so when it fails, and it WILL (because you really don't need a limited slip differential just to drive gently to the grocery store), you have added a few extra parts inside to help destroy your transmission when the diff. flies apart.

Realistically a B series is the best way to get an LSD into your car. Theirs also the D16 ZC trans if you can find one as an OEM solution.
