Ek manual steering questions
Ok I’ve searched. No definitive answer... I guess. My question. I have a 96 civic ex 5 speed. I swapped my power rack for a manual. I bought my rack from
detroit axle. Everything installed perfect into my subframe btw. But my universal is too big for the pinion. What exactly is needed to match my steering column spline with the pinion spline? I appreciate all help. Please no
bashing.

You'll need to get a u-joint from a factory-equipped, manual-steer (DX, CX) car. I grabbed one from the local self-service yard for a few bucks. if they're still available from dealer parts counter, i'm sure the price is outrageous.

I have the part number for the joint you need in my old phone. I think if you look on the Honda website it’s the one that ends in 14.
Pretty sure the outer tie rods are the same for all Civics 92-00 and Integras 94-01.
