From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
Does your car's VIN start with a 1 or a 2?
1 = US built
2 = Canada built
However...It doesn't make a difference where the car was BUILT.
It may make a difference what country the car was made FOR.
Because in different countries, different model packages mean different things.
An LX sold in the US market may or may not have the same brakes as a Canadian market LX, for example...because the Canadian market car may have different model features.
They could both be made in the US, or Canada, or Europe or Uranus and it wouldn't matter. It just depends on what market they were made for.
Measure your rotor diameter. Make sure it matches what you're buying. Or just read the notes on the rotor listing. It usually says something like "LX Canada" if there's something special about a Canadian LX.
- No such a thing as a V4 Accord, never has been, probably never will be. That said, they do make I4 Accords.
- As previously stated, it is irrelevant where the car was made, just which market it was bound for following manufacturing.
