Don't know if I'm wording this right. Just purchased a Canadian 04 Civic Special Edition, which is pretty much a mix of the USDM DX/EX. Has an OEM RSB and A/C power locks etc. Only thing is the last owner broke something in the drivers side door lock cylinder, the door locks and unlocks fine. I don't have the time/skill to rip the door apart and replace the lock. So my question is, how can I tell if I can get a used 7th gen FOB and pair it to my civic. It's not practical to have to crawl in the pass side to unlock the door. I park in a very buy school/mall parking lot.
