Default 2006 Accord 2.4 no spark and u0107 code

So working on a car for a friend. Story goes that battery died so he installed new battery and than car did nothing. He found the main fuse had blown (still has not admitted to is but i suspect that the battery was put in backwards). Replaced fuse and now it turns over and wont start. I have checked, fuel pump does run and prime, and immobilizer "key" on dash light come on and goes off in a few seconds also checked power to coils and have none. I have ground but no power. I have checked all fuses for ignition and also swapped the ignition relay with no change in symptoms. Hooked up code reader and got U0107 , no idea if that has anything to do with it.

So if my guess is right, what blows up when a battery hooked up backwards in a 2006 2.4 auto accord.

Thanks!

New here, checking to see if you ever found a resolution to this issue? Brother in law was "gifted" a 2004 Accord/3.0L auto with very similar issues. I don't know much of the back story on the vehicle, but was told it was a dead battery when he got it. Now has U0107, P0135, P0155. We have fuel pressure (based off of the pump kicking on and plugs wet, but no actual Schrader valve that I can find to read pressure from) as well as good strong crank (new battery) /no start situation. NO spark, (odd but may be related) no electric seats, no radio, no elec. locks, no heated seat function, and PRNDL flashes in D for about 5 seconds when cycling key or attempting to start. (He said he attempted to program key with series of cycles but did not look into it) O2 sens seem fine visually. Never hooked up scan, but cant imagine that causing a no spark issue. Almost seems like in Limp, but it wont start what so ever. Im a long time GM mechanic with minimal Honda/Acura experience, so any help is greatly appreciated.
