1999 Honda Civic Coupe EX: So both my windows get this glue like substance on them when I roll the windows down. The area this is happening to is by the side view mirrors. It's happening to both sides. I can remove the glue but it come back after a couple of roll-downs. Has the weather strip failed? Is this a replaceable part? Trying to get some insight before opening the door panel. Thanks in advance.

 

spray windex, use a utlity knife razor and scrape it.

 

Mine just started doing the same thing. I ordered this but haven't had a chance to put it on yet. I'm sure it will do the trick.

What was the resolution for this. Did changing that part fix the issue?
