bb6 2000 lowering limit on 18's
hi, i have 18x8 on front and 18x9 rear wheels with 225/40/18 f and 235/40/18 R. vehicle has stock suspension. and i have 2.1 inches of gap b/w fenders. i am thinking of lowering it on springs but dont know whats the limit. just want to fill the gap. wheels are alreadt 0.5 inch out side fenders.
i think going 1.5 inch low and rolling gaurds if need. is it too much any suggestions?

35 profile tires would help too
also you should upgrade struts always as well with springs - they should work together and stock struts are usually not that good with lowering springs - dampening is little bit off

Thanks for replying mate. My stock struts are in pretty good cindition and am on budget too. Any spring recomendations? I was lookin at skunk2 adjustable spring sleeves but dont know what kind of ride quality.
Im running with 225/35/18 and Im lowered like 1,5". I think its good drop but my rims are not overwide like yours...
I wouldnt get adjustable spring setups unless theyre coilovers.
Eibach makes good springs, dont know prices though
