01 GS suspension rebuild, go ITR suspenion?
I picked up a 01 GS 5 speed over the weekend with 130k. I plan on doing some hpde maybe autocross events so plan on replacing bushings and brakes. To make life easier I am looking at buying new lca's, front uca, tie rods, and koni yellows. I see hardrace supplies front lca's but the only lowers they sell are ITR which require ITR rear shocks. I am totally fine with that as I am buying new shocks but is there any disadvantages like abs lines or any gotchas when making the conversion?
it forces you in a higher class for autocross if that matters for you. Other than that I like the ITR suspension with a good set of shocks that aren't worn out Its a great suspension, car still looks stock, etc. Make sure you get a larger sway bar too.
The ABS sensor lines, one of the bolt holes doesnt match on the LS/GSR rear with the ITR LCAs. I just zipped tied it on and its holding up.

It would probably be cheaper to buy a bushing kit and replace just the bushings instead of the whole arms. The Hardrace kit is about $300 for everything and a shop should be able to press them in for you for not too much money.
it would butbthe extra hassle is not worth it. I have had mixed results doing that. It’s easier to get a whole arm ready to go.
Seems like you want a mild suspension performance bump. Koni Yellow/Bilstein B6 shocks + some eibach prokit (1.3/1.3in drop) would give you that modern performance bump you want. That combo will still be streetable from a comfort and getting over/around daily road conditions too.
