I have a 1995 Passport that I bought last summer. I fixed the fuel pump and a couple other minor things and got it running and driving really well. However after just driving a couple months the bolt that holds the harmonic balancer onto the crankshaft broke off in the crankshaft. I have tried a bunch of bolt extractors and had no luck. I was able to get the extractor in well enough that I took a pneumatic air gun to it and the gun wasn’t strong enough to break it free. Anyways I’m trying to avoid drilling the bolt and tapping it for a new bolt so I’m wondering if any of you have any ideas on what to try or how to fix it.
