Boat towing problem with Odyssey

Boat towing problem with Odyssey
We have a 2013 Odyssey. We included the factory tow hitch on the vehicle when we bought it new. I've used it to move a variety of things. The one which has given me struggles is the boat.
My family owns a boat which is ~2200 lbs on trailer, dry. We take care of it at the beginning and end of the season. Normally I can move it to and from the lake with relatively little issue, although you can definitely tell that the vehicle strains some... when first starting to drive at medium level speeds (30-40 MPH) it seems to be somewhat jerky. The larger problem is the boat ramp. It is a dirt ramp with a reasonable grade (not sure the actual value of the grade). If I have to stop at all I can't start again without spinning out. In fact, just trying to pull the boat out of the water has been a problem. It spins out when starting to pull the trailer. As a result I always have to schedule with someone else to bring a truck just for this portion.
Is there anything I am missing for being able to tow with this vehicle?
Is there any chance future Odyssey models will be AWD?
Thanks
