Default C27A swap - 91 civic Help please.

Have a line on a free C27A V6 from an 88 Acura Legend.

Had anyone done a swap with one of these into a 91 EF hatch before? Looking for any information on this swap..

From what I remember the 88 Legend is front wheel drive, it would mostly be a question of engine bay space and mounting?

Thoughts, concerns?

I doubt anyone has done that swap. The C series V6 engines are largely junk aside from the NSX engines. Space would be an issue because they are larger/heavier being a 90 degree V6. They respond badly to mods and generally have poor aftermarket support. If you want to do a V6 swap look into a J series. It's a 60 degree V6 so smaller packaging and just all around a better/newer engine. I bet even a healthy B series swap would run circles around the C27.

It probably would... Im just enticed by the FREE aspect of the engine. And frankly anything is better than the 1.5l thats in it.

Just because it is free doesn't make it a good idea. Now, if you say that you just want to do something different... then I think you have a plan. I am unaware of anyone doing this swap before, so be prepared to do a whole lot of custom work. If you do not have welding and wiring skills... you will be spending a large pile of cash to see this through. Being the first to do something is never cheap. This idea of a "free" engine being installed suggests that you are budget minded... and if that is the case, I would say this path isn't for you. A proven path with a bunch of patience while you acquire the parts... as you find amazing deals on each is the best budget plan... not original, but likely cheap if you can work out the deals.

Youre not wrong, and thats a point well taken. I am unfortunately both those things. I like to be different AND blooody cheap lol. Its an awful predicament.

Either way i may pick up the engine and save it for something else, while I do more research.
