I'm new to Hondas and their engines so bare with me.

I have a 96 accord coupe, automatic trans, and a vtec engine, not sure of series. ive read up that its prolly the f22 sohc, again I'm not positive on that.

I'm looking to swap to something with a better aftermarket community and more power/torque. I've seen a lot of good stuff about a k20 or k24 swap and was just curious to know or have some help with what would be the best combination of head and block or full engine to put into her. like I said I'm new to Hondas and looking through old forums and vids on tells me so much, sorry in advance if you lose me pretty quick haha.

 

If you are looking to go full K series it will be a lot of money and work. You would need a complete engine, trans and mounts along with the corresponding wiring harness and ECU.
