We are building a 92 Integra for ChampCar (chumpcar) and have a 1991 B18A1 to install. The coolant pipe going from the water pump to thermostat housing is shot and I cannot find a direct replacement. Are any of the coolant pipes from B18Cn engines compatible? I'm finding they have extra tubes / connections but I will braze or cap those off as long as the pipe fits we should be good?

Honda and Acura dealers both tell me this part is discontinued. Specifically part 19505-PR4-A00 for B18A1. Other series B motors appear to have different connections off the side of the pipe and B18C engines the parts are available. Any one use a coolant pipe from a newer Integra B motor on the A1?

I called those dealers and they do not have it. They said the website uses some national database that's poorly updated and they are trying to get it changed due to on-line orders coming in for parts they will never have. At least that's what they told me. But it is discontinued from Acura / Honda. I found one along with some other parts I needed from someone else on the forum last night. Appreciate the help though.

 

ah that sucks man, although it looks like it might be the same pipe as a single cam d series, where you located ? I am in central florida I can keep an eye out at the yard for you next time i go.

also can figure the difference between an b18a1 and a b18b1 ? might be workable

one more thing if its on a shelf at dealer somewhere might be why its in the database check a local dealer and see if they can check the national database and maybe locate it for
