94 Si 5spd

It only seems to do it if it rains, even if the car is hot. If it's dry out and the car is hot, it will not do it

It really only seems to happen when immediately pushing the clutch in when upshifting in lower gears, so 1-2 or 2-3. The squeak is there when I push in the clutch and the thump happens when releasing the clutch. If you release it slowly it does not do it. It's obviously something hitting or rubbing but i can't figure out what


I suspected motor mounts so I pulled off the hood and tried duplicating everything and didn't notice any movement in the engine, at least not an abnormal amount. I'm 75% certain it's suspension/mount related but it only happens at the time I mentioned above. Bumps or turns have no effect. My mechanic looked around and found nothing so I'm at a loss
