Maintenance schedule booklet
Does a 2018 Accord, bought new, come with a maintenance schedule booklet? It’s not with the manual.
The service light came in at 4,500 miles and it says oil life remaining 15% !!! That’s when I went looking for the booklet and it’s not there.

Standard oil changes for vehicles range between 3,000 and 10,000 miles (depending on several factors). The fact that you're seeing that light is far from irregular. As for the maintenance minder, look around page 604 in the owner's manual: http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/p...ATVA1818OM.PDF

I expected that a maintenance light would come on at 5,000 mi. I wasn’t expecting the message about 15% oil life remaining.
My primary question, that wasn’t answered was, “ does Honda give the buyer a booklet, usually in the glove box, the reads, MAINTENANCE.SCHEDULE”? along with a separate OWNERS MANUAL book?

Technically speaking; your oil is lasting longer than a typical 5,000 mile interval would require, as its stating you've got 750 miles left before needing service, when you're at 4,500 miles. But, alas, I am being pedantic.
As for a book regarding a maintenance schedule explicitly, I've never had one that was actually manufactured by Honda on any of them that I've owned (8 in total). I have, however, seen dealerships provide maintenance related booklets.

My personal experience is with Toyota. Up to and including my present car, a 2009 Camry, Toyota did include a separate Maintenance schedule booklet with the car. I don’t know if they still do. I’m going to ask my daughter, or rather look in her 2018 Rav to see if they still do. Thanks for everything!
