Default 2001 accord tranny question

Recently acquired a new auto tranny for my 01 accord (3.0 v6 w/auto). What is the easiest way togo about replacing said transmission? Also, are there any upgrades that i can do to the transmission prior to install to make it more robust without a complete tear down??

Rent a transmission jack; that'll make the R&R easier. As for what you can do to the tranny short of tearing it down and putting in the latest engineering build components with upgraded clutches; add an external ATF cooler and then make sure you do what is called a 3x3 transmission flush (drain the tranny, refill with three quarts DW-1, drive a bit, repeat, and repeat again).
