Default Car alarm

hello my son has a 2001 civic. Had to put a new ECM in and had it reprogrammed now car alarm started gong off now car won’t start. All lights come on but car won’t even turn over now. Started fine and ran when we first put the new ECM in it. What gives please help

You had the ECU reprogrammed? Was this at a Honda dealership, where they could pair your keys to the new ECU? If not, its likely the immobilizer is hanging you up.

Hello, yes it was done at dealership but when we got home the alarm kept going off when you would open passenger door. Car would still start and run. Tried to rest alarm nothing would work. Finally now turn key on alll lights in dash comes on car dings but go to start wouldn’t turn over. Barttery is good. I think immobilizer is not letting us start up. Not sure what to do at this point. Go back to dealer? Some trick I can do myself? Thanks

I would tow it to a dealer and get them to look it over for free, as it seems like they didn't do something right.
