Default M2a5 5th gear in m2b4 compatability.

Hi guys. Like many on here i would like better mpg on the highway. I'm not a tracker really. I have dug and dug and not finding the specific info I'm hoping for.
I'm wanting a taller 5th. I see the m2a5 has a .68 and my current m2b4 is .78. Are these an easy interchange or is there and width or other dimensional issue. From what ive seen i would rather not attempt this myself on this car. (Probaly get a scrap tranny to practice)
ill probably wait till it needs to be rebuilt, and wanted to be prepared for any custom parts or steps ill run into. Any advice or specific parts needed is appreciated. As well as any specifics on mods to the gear itself.
