D16Z6 Code 16
the other day on a long trip (350mi~) my car started running on three cylinders. i got home and check the ecu codes and got a code 16 (fuel injector) so i replaces all 4 injectors even through it was only cylinder 1 not firing and still have the same code, still only cylinder 1 not firing.
fuel pump (walbro 255) primes up nice and loud, pressure to the rail (obviously since the other 3 are firing and running fine). everything seems well off.
when it started happening though...while driving i showed about a 1/4 tank left but the car acted like it ran out out of gas (it did). called aaa and got 2 gallons and drove a half mile to the nearest fuel station and filled it up. after the aaa guy put the gas in, i started it and got a check engine light while running on 3 cylinders and made to the gas station and back to my house.
my my first instinct was the injectors so those got replaced like i said. fuel pump is new. fuel filter is clear. lines are clear. fuses are good.
my second guess would be an injector driver in the ecu burning out so i’ll try a spare ecu when i go back and get it. (moving from ca to az) so i’ll report back with that in a few days.
any input is appreciated.

Check your injector wiring.
Verify that all 4 injectors are firing.
My guess is you have a break in the wire going from ECU to the injector for the cylinder that isn't firing.

Likely just a coincidence. If you've changed the wiring, I agree with 4drEF, you likely have an open between the injector and the ECU. Look at your splices.
Read up on Walbro pumps in Honda's.
There is a VERY common issue with the fuel sock that causes them to stop picking up fuel when 1/4 tank or less.

alright so the pump is good.. ecu is good..main relay is good..i dont see any pins pulled out on the ecu..checked A1(injector 1) and i also took the spliced plug off and im still not getting power to the injector 1 power wire..when i put a multimeter on the other injectors power wires, it sees 12v just fine but not injector 1.....w t f

ECU supplies ground to trigger the injectors.
Power is common on all the injectors.
Unless you did a tuck or something, you can find that all 4 power wires for the injectors connect to a main power wire over by the brake booster.
The faulty injector power wire probably lost connection over there.
