I have a 1991 Honda CRX si with a 1.6 in it. It has been converted into a racecar and a fuel cell installed with an inline fuel pump. Car ran just fine before stock pump and tank was taken off. I have spark everywhere and have done all the tests for spark. It turns over strong but it will not start. Any ideas?

 

whats the fuel pressure?

you still have the return line hooked up?

 

Return line is hooked up from original line to fuel cell via fuel hose. pump puts out 55 psi original pump is 47 psi

 

how did you wire it up? still using main relay?

 

No, i wired it straight to a switch from battery and ran it to the pump.

 

what did you do with the main relay? just leave the fuel pump power wire open? the rest in tact?

 

I have not done anything with the relay the harness to the pump, and the tank have been removed. i have fuel to the rail but no fuel to the injectors. could that be something electrical that needed the harness from the pump to complete a circut?
