Default Need Info about f series and h series!

Would taking a h22 head and putting it on a f22b1 block work?

Short answer: Google it. Less short answer: Can be done but it's not really an ideal setup.

They are very similar blocks, im not sure if all the coolant ports and head bolts would line up. Deck height might be different which would cause for a hard time trying to find a timing belt that would fit the sohc f series with the dohc h series. I would just run a complete h22 motor or maybe boost the F series if your looking for more power. The f series is very dependable even at high power levels and boost and they are inexpensive.

You're talking about a G23 engine? There are some good write ups on the build, I would check those out.
