Brake questions
I have a 90 crx dx that I purchased a few months ago. I originally wanted a stock one to learn everything about and learn to work on. I ended up with one that had a b18a in it. The rear brakes have already been converted to discs from his 93 integra I believe. My questions are:
1. Is there a place to look on the brake system (front and rear) to see the part number and what is actually on it (calipers, rotors, pads) so I can replace?
2. Is there a main website for honda parts? I sold my mustang to get the crx and American Muscle made it too easy to find everything.
I did use the search/Google and came upon countless forums of similar questions but I'm just trying to find out what I have and where to buy new ones. Thank you for your help.

Short answer, yes the 90-93 Integra rear brake parts will fit. So you should be able to order those as replacements no problem.
Finding part numbers on what you have could be more difficult, because we don't know if they are OEM or aftermarket replacements. They may have no markings. There are also a wide range of vehicles from which the parts could have been sourced....
- '90-91 CRX Si
- '90-01 Integra
- '92-95 Civic
- '93-97 del Sol Si, VTEC
As for parts, try to stick to OEM. HondaAutomotiveParts.com is a great source. Or if needing Acura specifically go to OEMAcuraParts.com.
When OEM is outside of your budget, you can try sites like Rock Auto, but be wary of cheaping out on anything from them. You will get what you pay for, and it may end up costing you more in the long run.

Thank you so much. The car is on a trailer right now (moving across country) and it is driving me crazy not knowing what brake setup I have or where to buy from.
Hopefully I get lucky and can find out what the front brakes are. Once again thank you.

Trust me I feel your pain. I got my car with the B swap as well, so they had to change out the front knuckles. It also had larger front discs and a rear disc conversion, and I have no idea what parts they used. Thankfully the parts from many different Honda models are interchangeable
the rear disc brakes on civics and integras from 1988 to 2000 are the same. the same rotors, pads, and calipers. the trailings arms may be different and determining exactly where it came from is not straight forward, but what you replace and maintain is the same.
the fronts are going to be determined by the knuckle. just look, post a pic, and compare. some front calipers have manufacturer markings to help determine where they came from, but not always.
estore.honda.com has all the official part numbers you can cross reference. there are also a ton of online dealerships that sell parts and have full databases of all the parts to also cross reference. use any one of them, they are all competitive and mostly comes down to shipping and tax depending where you live.

Thank you for all the feedback. The previous owner had a 93 integra that he said he swapped everything over from (it was basically just the shell sitting next to the crx). Since he did the rear disc swap I'm assuming the front knuckles are from the integra as well but I'm not sure.
Once we settle into the new house I will put the car on jacks and try to narrow it down to what I have and will post pics if I'm not positive of what I find online.
this will be my daily/work car so I'm not worried about track use so I just want to replace what I have so I know it's new and safe for daily driving.
