Speaker size for 92-95 Civic HB?
I think you are better off with really good amped speakers up front, and no speakers in the back. It gives you better sound imaging, i have a pair of JL audio XR components up front with a 400watt amp pushing them, and no rear speakers, and it sounds great.
They should be 5 1/4's all they way around. Here's a link. For the front they recommend both 6 1/2's and 5 1/4's. I'm 99% sure that the 6 1/2's would required a little more work.

I installed a pair of 6 1/2 Rockford components in the front on a buddy's 94 using 1" spacer rings, and they fit great.
I believe the Rockfords are actually an "oversize" 6 1/2, so they are more like a 6 3/4 or 7".
They came close to the window glass when the window was down, but never touched and sound great.

rockford did make an oversized 6 1/2....its actually 6 3/4 if i am correct. it has a deeper cone base. better bass. my hatch takes 6 1/2 in the front and 5 1/4 in the back.
