Default Del sol engine noob

I have a d16z6 engine in my 95 del sol and the heads code is p08-4 I wanted to know if my head is vtec cause it has the vtec solenoid but there's nothing connected to it or anything and it doesn't look like there are and wires that go to it.

if it has a vtec solenoid...its a vtec head.
sounds like someone swapped or motor or head and never wired it up. very easy.
FYI some years had vtec wired to the shock tower plug.
if your car doesnt ahve this.
get the 2 plugs pigtails for your vtec solenoid and oil swith. plug them in. start running wire to ECU
get some loom
get some ECU pins or take out ones unused from your harness.
wire them to the appropriate pins in the ECU, plug in...boom vtec

basicly make your own VTEC wire harness and it can look oem with loom.
you can actualy buy these premade...but you still have to run it to ECU and find teh pin out and pop them in. easy peasy
