i need help my new friends i have a 2000 Honda Civic Lx one day on my way to work it just died on me,
i've replace the crankshaft position sensor , spark plugs , distributor cap and rotor , timing belt , belt tenioner,
water pump while i had it apart . i have spark and fuel in the rail, fuel relay clicks when key is turned on , fuel
pump is working so after putting it back together and tried to start it, it started up but after 20 to 20 seconds it
started to run ruff it started to idle high then low then high then low
it conked out when i tried to rev it with the throttle on the carb and it hasn't started since , i'm at my wits end
what's wrong with it what's causing it not to start after it started i know it runs any ideas would be very appreciated

 

Not very knowledgeable in this area so just some thoughts.

Did you check fuel pressure? What about for clogged fuel filter? Any vacuum leaks? It really sounds like a fuel supply issue to me.

 

yes i changed the fuel filter and i have fuel coming out of the rail i thought the same thing
i wonder should i change fuel pump, fuel regulator and maybe fuel pump relay? just wondering
if the fuel injectors are clogged ?
