I have a 1988 crx si and the temp gague worked when I bought it and suddenly stopped one day. Needless to say I found out my plug wire snapped off the sensor and I need a new plug wire. Witch is near impossible to find. I was wondering if anybody in the forms had or could get s hold of just the wiring/plug for the temputure part for the gauge? I'm willing to pay any reasonable price for the plug/wire and also will cover any shipping cost on top of that.

 

plug wire? On the sensor end to the engine or thew cluster end?
I actually have one for the engine sensor end.
Pretty sure any pik npull will have a similar engine you can just snip it off of

 

Didnt think about trying to just find the motor on anouther car for the sensor lol. And the plug end that goes to the sensor for the block (the one you have). What other hondas came with the d16a6 motor?

 

Mine came off as well, which is why I have two.
I am pretty sure it's not unique to the d16a6. or even d series engines. It looks like the female end of a butt connector.
I'm thinking a properly sized butt connector will work as well

 

I think you are right considering it's just a one wire set up, theres not a whole lot going on besides the sensor feeding power to the gauge.

 

I'll sell mine for 12.00 shipped, you need to soder and heatshrink it on. I'll find it.

 

If you find it and I end up needed it, we will work it out . I'm going to try to work out a way to fix it here but. I mite end up needing a fresh plug to put on there.
