Koni custom coilover.
Hi guys.
I bought used set of yellow Koni, I think it is for 5. gen Civic ( EG ), it is adjustable by height, and stiffnes. I don't know part numbers.
I read a lot of other topics, and too many opinions are there.
Anyway, I was thinking about customizing them in that way so they would be like real coilovers. I live in europe, ( CRO ), and it is little harder and more expensive to find ebay ground controls, so my mechanic would make them.
Now, I need some good advice. First of all, I don't plan to slam my car, f*ck stance. So, 2 things, is there any point in getting those little helpers like KV V3 has, I mean, would it be more comfortable with that. And other thing, I was thinking, is it possible to avoid that big gap at wheels when you're lifting your car, when example you're going to change tire, brakes, etc.
Btw, does anyone know is it true that Koni gives life time warranty? Do I need papers that said I bought them?
P.S. sorry for my bad english language.

Kw v3 have tender springs, don't affect comfort or anything, just keeps the spring in compression. It's not necessary anyway, unless you need to pass some kind of inspection.
If you wanted some kind of dual rate serial spring setup, good luck, it's not as simple as it sounds and honestly not doable with the limited shock travel .
Ground controls make it easy to convert konis to an adjustable spring perch .I'm sure you've found a lot of search results regarding the topic.
And no, the warranty is not transferable .You didn't buy it new, they don't owe you anything . That being said, if you need service, I'm sure they will be more than fair .
