Hi,
So I’ve got a 2002 Honda CR-V, got it from auction after salvage sale. Car has been repaired is running and driving. Question is, it seems to be leaking trans fluid. I did replace both the A/C condenser and the radiator, everything seems right and OK. I will be rechecking my work tonight I built the car for my nephew.
Is is there a common leak on the 02’s? Is there something else I should be looking for with the trans for the leak. I will be double checking the trans cooler lines to the radiator and
anything I moved/repaired during the rebuild.
Update:
Found the issue to be the flare nut fittings for the trans cooler going to the radiator. One of the lines got kinked when I tightened everything, the kink created a small hole in the high pressure line allowing the vehicle to seep fluid during idle and driving R&R line, vehicle is no longer leaking.
