90 crx si
brake lights stay on even after the car and all lights is turned off.
draind my battery completly.
anybody had this before?
im thinking it could be bad brake switch or brake pedal ajustment or both.

any feedback welcome.

there is a switch on the pedal assembly, check that first...

you're on the right track...

 

happened to my dads CRX...its most likely the little switch on the brake pedal.like CRX Si said..go to a junkyard and get one there...they have lots...

 

The same thing happened to my brother's CRX. It's a small circular piece that goes on the brake pedal assembly where it meets the brake switch. The little piece cracked and fell apart. I simple glued a penny on there, until I could pull one of another CRX. You can also buy it from Honda, it's very inexpensive.

whats up. yeah i took a good look today, thats exactly what happened, little rubber pad cracked and fell out of the hole on pedal arm. took a 10mm bolt/nut (1/2in long) -screwed it toghther, solved now.
worked out real good.
