Glass broke on passenger side outside rear view mirror, 2002 Accord LX (made in Mexico). I popped out the mirror and backing plate with no difficulty. Now, trying to re-install and having trouble getting the two actuator shafts to pop into their sockets on the back of the mirror backing plate when they are first seated in the actuator sub-***'y. I tried seating them into the sockets on the backing plate first and then pushing them into the the holes in the actuator sub-***'y but couldn't get that to work either. Seems hard to line everything up to get it all to pop into place. There must be a trick? Any suggestions appreciated.

Edit: I just saw the tutorial on this site...lube and heat suggested. Anything else?
