battery dying
i have a new battery in my 2001 civic, every few days my car is dead, it tries to turn over but slowly winds down then wont turn over, code scanner brings up no codes. what can cause this issue
Lose ground wires, like from the engine block, battery-to-frame, etc.
Bad alternator?
Lose alternator belt?
Blown charging fuse?
Something staying on in your cabin, like a radio or amp?
Check your door jam switches. Dome lights in these cars turn on when ground is lost in the door jam switch, if it's rusting out your light may be *just a little bit* on and glowing at all times. (turn off the rear dome light. Does the front one glow with doors closed and key out of the ignition?)
Trunk light staying on?
There are a lot of other possible issues. Please include more detail.

No nothing like that, when the scanner was used, the code for the EGR valve comes up but that was already once replaced by my friend who is previous owner, I just recently replaced the battery, it's the 3rd one, it starts each time now, but she told me that happen with previous batteries as well then the car started having problems again starting. Could this be a problem with the alternator?
